Fly fishing for salmon on Stjördal River in Mid-Norway on 17th-24th July 2027 and 24th-31st July 2027. A fine Austkil Lodge and a good private 2 km long Austkil beat is located on middle Stjördal River.
The guests are fishing beautiful, private Austkil fishing beat situated middle Stjördal River about 20 km from the Atlantic Ocean. The Austkil beat is about 2 km long and consists of 3 different pools that can be fished from both sides of the river. Maksimum number of anglers is limited to 6 persons per week. Anglers will be divided into two rotation groups of three anglers each.
Austkil pools are divided in two beats. Two beats will be rotated between the two rotation groups changing every 6 hours. Beat 1: Austkilskogen pool, length 1300 m is available every day. Beat 2: Sonoset, length 500 m or Holmene pool, length 700 m (these 2 pools Sonoset and Holmene fished one pool at a time, changing every day).
Accomodation for guests is in the charming Austkil Lodge. The Lodge is located close the Auskil beat and it has been restored for anglers needs. There is a big living room, a well equipped kitchen and 7 bedrooms divided into 2 lodge buildings, there is a single bedroom for every guest. 2 x toilet and 2 x shower are in the red Annekset lodge building. Guests can cook their own food in the self catering kitchen.
